On monthly closes, every cycle bottom has formed above the top of the cycle before it. The 2017 top was at $14.2k. The 2022 bottom stopped at $16.5k, above it.

A level without a timeframe is noise. What counts is the monthly close, not the four-hour candle.

The last cycle top was around $61k. That is exactly where the test is happening now.

The second observation is about discipline. The biggest edge came in March 2023, at 54% below the top, when the press was screaming recession. Not out of courage. Out of the ratio: large reward, small risk. As price climbs, it inverts.

Bitcoin has bottomed near almost every World Cup. And each time the bottom came closer to the tournament, with a smaller drop.

The World Cup does not move Bitcoin. But the pattern, as a marker in time, has repeated four times.

The 2014 World Cup, a bottom 71% lower, seven months later. The 2018 World Cup, minus 52%, six months later. The 2022 World Cup, minus 4%, with the bottom arriving within days.

The 2026 World Cup is now. If the pattern continued, the bottom would already be close, with a small drop. It is one clue on top of the others, not a signal taken on its own.

The July 1 noise and a chart that is not a crash

The end of the week separated two scares from the mechanism behind them.

The first, the MiCA rules from July 1. They set who is allowed to offer crypto services in the Union, through the CASP license. They do not change taxes, which sit in national law, and they do not confiscate anyone's coins.

React to the mechanism, not to the headline. Structure does not break because of a news story.

The second scare, a drop of about 27% from the May high. It sounds like a crash. It is not. Read through Ichimoku, it looks like a bottoming process.
